The student made a miraculous escape when she fell 30 feet from the window during sleepwalking.
Rumitchell fell from a friend’s apartment AberdeenLanded in Scotland, and in a corrugated metal annex where she had to be rescued by firefighters.
A 40-year-old woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but escaped significantly with a sprain on her left ankle and a scar on her forehead.
She told The Sun: I’m sleeping and then screaming on this building.
“I felt a lot of pain and a lot of blood in my head, but it’s all a little blurry.
“I was afraid-and couldn’t understand how it happened.”
A full-time psychology student said she used to fall asleep when she was a teenager, but has grown up since then.
“I feel very lucky to be okay. Everyone keeps saying that I have to be super tough, and doctors and nurses say it’s a miracle.”
Lou said she was looking down on the parking lot of a shopping center from her friend’s four-story apartment. Fortunately, when she shouted for help, someone was there and called an ambulance.
She said to the sun: I had this feeling of falling and then remember screaming and waking up.
“I couldn’t walk after that, and I was inside and outside my consciousness in the ambulance.
“What’s interesting is that I did my second Covid jab the day before and since then I’ve been reading about people who have vibrant dreams and are separated from reality.”
Lou said he has lived with his peers since the incident and is afraid that it will happen again.
She added: “There is a flashback, which is affecting mental health.”
