Gwyneth Paltrow teases Marvel fans by saying they are unaware of the Hawkeye series

She famously had a hard time remembering her many contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, Gwines Platlow seemed to make fun of Marvel fans on Friday, behaving as if he didn’t know about Marvel’s ongoing Hawkeye series, which starred the character of Jeremy Renner in the Avengers movie.

The 49-year-old Oscar winner took a quiz about the series premiered at Disney + on November 24, and answered a series of fan questions on Instagram.

Given that she has appeared in more Marvel movies than many of the franchise’s famous figures, it makes sense for fans to ask her about the MCU.

“Have you seen the Hawkeye series?” Asked one anonymous fan in the question.

“No, what is it?” Gwines replied.

Unlike some of the other answers she replied to in the video, Iron Man’s star posted a written reply, perhaps to maintain the facade of her deadpan.

The actress may not have really noticed this series, but she struggled to prove that she was in popular culture with another answer, especially because it was far less noticeable than the Marvel movie.

After asking if fans had listened to a re-recorded version of Taylor Swift’s album “Red,” she replied in big block letters.

Gwyneth was first introduced to Marvel fans as Pepper Potts, a personal assistant to Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) at Iron Man in 2008.

As she and Stark became romantically intertwined, she later played a bigger role in the sequel, and she continued her small appearances in the first Avengers movie, and Infinity War and Endgame.

The studio is also wary of obsessive-compulsive fans worried about conspiracy spoilers, often forcing actors to shoot uncontextual scenes. This may have been the case for her Spider-Man scene.

However, Paltrow seemed to completely block the short scene she shot for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

She was briefly introduced in the movie in a scene with Tony just before heading to a press conference, during which he proposed to her character.

When she starred in the chef’s pilot episode, Iron Man and Spider-Man’s regular Jon Favreau’s culinary series, Gwines didn’t know the scene ended with the latest Spider-Man restart.

“No, I wasn’t in Spider-Man,” she tells Favreau, “I was in The Avengers.”

All MCU films are interconnected, and the standard procedure is to feature an end-credits scene that connects one movie to another. So Gwines may not have known that the scene would be Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The actress said earlier Man Having her own solo Marvel movie wasn’t of interest to her.

“If it’s a small part that can be done in a day or two, of course I’ll accept it,” she said.

While talking to Empire In 2019, Paltrow revealed that he was confused with the extended MCU cast as to why Samuel L. Jackson was included in the group during the photocall.

”what are you talking about? He’s Nick Fury! You’re in a movie with him, “she said, said Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios.

However, since both actors play the role of cameos primarily in Marvel movies, there is little interaction on the set.
