BBCScottish editor Sara Smith spoke on Radio 4 Today’s program Warned about potential future difficulties for representatives of United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26). She emphasized that the accommodations were expanded as the climate change conference was held in the city center with an estimated 30,000 participants. As a result, many representatives are no longer at the center and commute to meetings.
Ms. Smith said at least 3,000 representatives do not yet have accommodation and planned rail strikes could make it very difficult to get to the conference.
