Gardening Australia’s longtime host Peter Kang died of a short illness at the age of 94


Australian horticultural expert Peter Cundall died at the age of 94.

Peter, who hosted the ABC television program Gardening Australia for 18 years, died of a short illness and was surrounded by his family.

His family issued a statement on Sunday revealing that there was a private cremation.

The statement states: On Sunday, December 5, 2021, Peter Cundall died peacefully of a short illness surrounded by his family.

“Peter’s privacy and the privacy of his family should be respected in this very sad time.

“Peter’s family doesn’t want to get in touch.

“He was loved by many, but as Peter hoped, there was a private cremation and no memorial service.”
