here, Loose female Panelist Frankie opens up about the best and worst of her time at the castle, her emotional reunion with her son, and why she never makes a New Year’s resolution …

Hello Frankie! Congratulations on making I’m A Celebrity final! Are you surprised how far you have gone?

definitely! I attended the show without any expectation, and once the girls started to get rid of, we went almost one by one. When I entered the final four, I was thinking of leaving instead of David, so I was very shocked when I didn’t.

Wayne attended the show in 2016 and you were higher than him. Did you rub it?

100%. He’s taking it like a champion! He was very proud while he was watching it at home. He’s glad I brought this with me. He wins in everything else!

Were you happy to see Danny win?

From the moment Danny stepped into the castle, he knew he would be the winner. So I don’t want to say “I said that”, but I did! I’m very happy with him, it’s great because he loves the show.

Have you been able to return to normal life?

I didn’t really stop after I left the castle. At home, I’m definitely back to mom. Children always say: Can you do it? “

You are very open about your mental health. How did you protect you in a high pressure environment like a castle?

It was really hard. I was shocked at how high the highs were, how low the lows were, and how fast they switched from one to the other.

It was a pain, but it was a pain for everyone. So the way I managed it was to talk, as many of us felt the same. Everyone was very kind and attentive to each other.

What was the hardest part?

Obviously, it was really difficult not to know what the kids and Wayne were like. We are accustomed to keeping in touch with everyone we know and love. But strangely, the cold was what I found to be the most difficult.

I didn’t know how cold it was all day long. Also, it was really strange not to know the time. I didn’t expect that to be a problem, but I spent most of the day guessing.

What was the after party like?

It was great to sit and chat without a camera or microphone. I was used to them while I was there, but that night it was like, “Oh, literally only four of us.” There was dancing and chatting, and there were many meals.

Did you miss all the camping buddies?

100%. It’s really strange that they aren’t around each other. And we are the only ones who understand what it was like. Every year my experience at IAC varies from person to person and it’s really strange not to be here.

However, I hope you’re busy with the WhatsApp group, The Sexy Badgers.

How was it to meet Wayne and your sons Parker and Carter again?

It was really moving. By the time I got home, I was dying to see them. The boys were lovely and gave me a big hug. Wayne did that too. That was all I had imagined while I was there.

The car ride from Wales must have felt like it lasted forever …

I felt it really long. I was opening messages from people, but I couldn’t open many because I wasn’t ready. It took me a few days before I could see my cell phone correctly. It was strange to know that I was going home.

Are you looking forward to Christmas?

Christmas is my favorite time of the year! When I was in the castle, I just kept reminding myself that it would be Christmas when I left. I have the whole family coming, it will be as busy as I like it.

Would you like to make it even more special this year?

Last year we were only four, so I’m glad the whole family came back together. My mother is cooking at home.

Is there a hoodie and carter tradition to keep the Christmas magic alive?

We do the same as my family grew up. We all decorate the trees together and wake up to the Christmas song in the morning. Everything else revolves around eating.

You participated in the Loose Women panel this year, how do you find it?

I love it. While I was in the castle, I really missed the girl.

Do you have any New Year’s aspirations?

No, I think you are setting yourself up to disappoint yourself. I’d like to say I’m not going to eat chocolate, but that never happens.
