Fluid Business Solutions (t / a Fluid.work) secures £ 2m seed investment from Praetura Ventures – UK technology investment news

SaaS company Fluid work secured a £ 2 million investment from Manchester-based venture capital investor Praetura Ventures.

The investment will allow Fluid.work to significantly grow its team, enhance its marketing activity and aim for global expansion.

Fluid.work’s goal is to improve working life with a complete cloud-based solution, which solves the disconnection between people, offices, processes, tools and management. The business team has developed a platform that creates more productive work environments by offering greater transparency and efficiency in a company’s daily functions, while offering data-driven, real-time decision support.

Based in London, Fluid.work provides an all-in-one business management tool and collaboration software to companies in all sectors, including professional and financial services, retail and insurance.

The platform uses a variety of industry-leading tools, including custom automated workflows, automated presentation creation, interactive dashboards, job hubs, asset management, intuitive reporting integrations, and monitoring systems.

Fluid.work aims to tackle unproductive meetings, unclear communications, manual reporting, and time-consuming tasks. Demand for its services has increased in the wake of the pandemic, in response to changing work practices.

In a dynamic job market, work-life balance continues to play an important role for companies seeking to attract and retain talent. By automating low-value tasks, the Fluid.work system aims to give employees back their time for more fulfilling activities in their workday.

Unlike many of its competitors, the company focuses on “human-supported SaaS,” with significant resources dedicated to the staff of its account management teams to help clients with the onboarding process and long-term use. end of the tool. This approach has helped Fluid.work attract major global customers, such as Herbalife, Investec, Santander and Walmart.

Jared Whitaker, CEO of Fluid.work said: “We are delighted to have closed this funding round with Praetura Ventures. Fluid.work is set to grow and scale massively and we are so excited to share our solution with more customers globally. We know our platform makes a difference for each individual user, enabling them to work better, save time, increase productivity and focus on what matters most. “

David Foreman, Chief Executive Officer of Praetura Ventures, added: “Jared and the team have built a great business to date. While there are other tools on the market, clearly the innovation and service Fluid.work offers to the industry has helped them attract and retain a wide variety of customers, from SMEs to household names. We look forward to working with Fluid.work and supporting them in this next chapter. “

The deal was handled by investment manager Sim Singh-Landa and investment director Louise Chapman of the Praetura Ventures team.

Praetura Ventures was advised by the legal team of Gateley Legal.
