At one point, while speaking to journalist Katie Tarr, Garner said: “I certainly lost a friend, and for our church, it’s really tender. So I feel like we shouldn’t talk about her yet.”
“But yes, I lost a friend who couldn’t leave home on time,” she continued, her voice rising at the tragic loss.
Jennifer also recalled seeing thousands of homes destroyed in the Palisades area, saying, “I just…my heart bleeds for all my friends.”
