The actors who played Luke and Lee’s brothers in the hit ITV Thorpe shared happy news on social media with a series of adorable snaps.

The couple seemed to be relaxing on the beach together before Max stood up and kneeled down in front of the shocked Chris.

The 37-year-old kid accepted the proposal without hesitation, and when they celebrated the happy news, they could see the pair hugging each other.

Max used Instagram to share a selection of photos for his special occasion and the footage he was proposing.

The first snap showed Chris holding a bottle of champagne and sharing a kiss with a newly engaged couple.

Captioning the adorable post, Max spouted: “He deserves the world, but the best I can do is promise him my heart. He said yes!
