Eels NRL Forward Stone Sign and Dolphin

Wayne Bennett’s dolphins made another step forward to Parramatta’s Raystone as they slowly created their list before their debut in 2023. NRL competition.

The Red Cliff-based club signed Stone on a two-year contract-after they announced their first major new hire last month. MelbourneState of Origin 2nd row Felise Kaufusi.

Dolphins have overlooked other leading stars, Tino Faas Amaleaui and Brandon Mychal, and have expressed concern about their ability to form a competitive roster of 30 people.

The hit 24-year-old Stone made his NRL debut in 2018. This is due to 28 games, including two Eels appearances in the NRL finals.

Dolphins CEO Terry Leader said former Australian schoolboy representative Stone had been targeted by Bennett.

“We need to give some depth to the teams that will eventually compete, Ray is exactly the type of player we’re looking for,” the leader said in a statement on Tuesday.

“When we talked about hiring, Ray Stone was one of the first players Wayne Bennett spoke to.

“Ray has NRL experience in Eels and also covers the hooker position.

“I look forward to joining the dolphins when he starts his pre-season training next November.”
