Ed Sheeran and Elton John dress up as sausage rolls in Lad Baby’s new festive charity music video

Pop giants Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John appear in Lad Baby’s new festive charity music video dressed as flake-shaped sausage rolls.

The duo is directly confronting the viral YouTube sensation With your own song in the coveted Christmas No. 1 race..

But Sunday’s Sun can set aside the chart’s rivals and reveal that Lad Baby has agreed to help bid on the new track Sausage Rolls for Everyone for the fourth consecutive Christmas top seller.

YouTuber, Real name Mark Foil, 34, wants the song to be on the same level as The Beatles. The Beatles also had four Christmas chart toppers.

The bizarre scene of 30-year-old Ed and Elton was filmed last week in western London.

The insider said: “The video is kept secret, but Ed and Elton are great sports and don’t take their rivalry with Lad Baby very seriously.

“It’s all for charity, so they don’t care if they win or lose. It’s a lot of fun.”

Elton, 74, admitted he was worried about the competition, saying he needed to deal with the sausage rollman.

Lad Baby and his wife Roxanne, 34, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, first topped the charts at We Built this City on Sausage Rolls in 2018 and again topped the charts at I Love Sausage Rolls in 2019.

Last year Ed supported Lad Baby’s third hit, Don’t Stop Me Eating..

Mark states: “Ed Sheeran sent me a message saying he loves what I and my wife do. He wants us to do it every year.”
