Ealing Murder: Girl died and woman arrested in western London | UK | News

Police have been accused of personal welfare concerns at a property in South Ealing, western London. Just before 1:00 pm on Thursday. Police officers found the body of a five-year-old child in the house, and paramedics reported her death on the scene.

Since then, the Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of murder. She remains in custody.

Police confirmed that the child and the suspect were known to each other.

The girl’s family has been informed of her death and will be examined after death.

“Her relatives are informed. Postmortem examinations will be done soon.

“A 31-year-old woman was arrested on the scene on suspicion of murder. She was detained.

“The girl and the woman were known to each other. A murder investigator from Mets’ Specialist Crime Command led the investigation.

“Inquiries will continue.”
