Covid cases are coming from the UK, according to ONS data

The number of patients with Covid-19 decreased last week, according to new data National Statistics Office (ONS) Shows.

Professor James Naismith, director of the Rosalind Franklin Institute and professor of structural biology at Oxford University, said: “Where Scotland has gone, England is likely to follow. Hospital admissions were reduced for people over the age of five, but increased from zero to four.

The largest decrease was in people aged 85 and older. However, hospital admission rates still remain the highest for this group.

The lowest rate of hospitalization was in people aged 5 to 14 years.
