Travel bosses welcome the relaxation of COVID rules for US and EU travelers as a move to “return the UK to business around the world.”
British Airways owner International Airlines Group’s share has risen by more than 3%, while easyJet, Ryanair, Twi and engine maker Rolls-Royce have also risen.
Cruise operators Carnival and Saga were also backed by the government’s statement that it could proceed with international cruises.
