Authorities confirmed that “many fans” were able to enter the venue, whether or not they had tickets.

In the dramatic scene, dozens of people pushed the line to the venue, and bamboo-covered guards tried to push it back.

I was able to see skirmishes taking place as O2 workers tried to stop fans gathering at the music arena to watch the Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” tour.

But in time, enthusiastic crowds knocked over airport-type security scanners as they broke into the venue.

The arena, which accommodates up to 20,000 people, has confirmed that it is reviewing post-breach security procedures.

And they advised fans coming to the Withkid additional show this week to arrive early for a security check.

A spokesman for the venue told The Sun Online: “Tonight, a security codeon breach occurred at the entrance to the arena, which allowed many fans in line to enter the venue.

“The situation was immediately contained by staff and the case was resolved.

“The venue is considering security procedures for the rest of the show this week and advises fans to arrive early for security checks tomorrow night and Wednesday.”

Social media users quickly criticized the crowd at a concert in London, saying, “This feels sick.”

Another added, “After Astroworld? People are not ashamed or valued for their safety.”
