Britney Spears wedding is interrupted as first husband, Jason Alexander, shows up to crash the event

Britney Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander has been booked in to jail after dramatically livestreaming himself crashing her wedding at her California mansion on Thursday afternoon.

Alexander broadcasted himself on Instagram as he ran through hillside trails, tussled with security guards and could be heard saying ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding’ before entering the wedding tent where Spears’s nuptials would be held.

He was apprehended and charged with trespassing, vandalism and two batteries after a couple of altercations with Britney’s security guards.

The breach happened before the star-studded ceremony with hordes of celebrities such as Madonna, Paris Hilton and Donatella Versace in attendance at festivities at Britney’s 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath Italian villa.

Alexander is now in the custody of the Ventura Sheriff’s Department.

The 40-year-old was easily able to scale a fence, descend a rocky hillside and slip inside the wedding venue, all-the-while telling security exactly who he was, and why he was there – just hours before the fairytale ceremony got underway.

Shortly after the crashing, a source told Page Six: ‘Britney is shaken but doesn’t want to let this get her down. Everyone is thankfully safe, and Jason is no longer on the property.’

Alexander’s arrest is the third arrest in 13 months. Police sources revealed he also has a felony warrant for larceny in another county.

He was last in police custody for driving under the influence in January 2021 and breaking security protocols at an airport in August. Alexander was also arrested previously for violating an order of protection and stalking an unidentified woman in December 2021.

On Thursday night, Spears‘ attorney revealed he was ‘absolutely livid’ after Alexander crashed the pop star’s wedding venue and demanded he be locked up.

Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor with a reputation that has seen him represent a host of high-profile clients since he went into private practice in 2001, said he is ‘personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’

‘Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,’ Rosengart, told TMZ in a statement.

Rosengart’s vow to see Alexander prosecuted capped off an afternoon of drama within the grounds of Spears’ Thousand Oaks, California mansion hours before she is due to marry longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.

A photographer captured the moment Alexander was apprehended by security and pinned to the ground.

Alexander claimed that Britney had ‘invited him’ to the event and that she was his ‘first and only wife’ before he proudly stated he was there to ‘crash the wedding’.

At one point, he managed to make it inside the wedding tent which was decorated in pink roses, before he was once again confronted by armed security.

He was swiftly tackled to the ground and escorted off the premises with the Ventura County Sheriff having been summoned. Overhead photos show at least six patrol cars in attendance as Alexander’s antics demonstrated a stunning breach in security surrounding the star.

Rosengart told TMZ he’s ‘absolutely livid’ Alexander tried to crash and wants Alexander locked up.

Alexander and Spears tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2004 and were married for just 55 hours before they had their union annulled.

In a 10 minute long Instagram live video, Alexander can be seen scaling a fence on the perimeter of Spears’ property as he documents exactly what he is about to do.

He encounters a number of security personnel and openly states his name and intention: ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding!’

As Alexander descends a hillside, he enters the wedding tent where planners are still busy putting the finishing touches, even shaking hands with some of the workers.

Several rows of wooden benches can be seen lined up, together with an alter covered in pink roses under which the couple would later say their vows.

Alexander introduces himself to several of the workers present who are helping to put everything into place.

He then marches inside the house demanding to know: ‘Where’s Britney?’

The video occasionally cuts out completely but Alexander can be seen bounding up a fight of stairs to the second story before entering what appears to be a bedroom while still calling out Britney’s name.

Eventually, Alexander is apprehended by a member of the security team who can be see holding a gun in his hand, which he keep pointed towards the floor.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department raced to the scene to respond to a trespassing call.

Three police cars arrived at the singer’s Thousand Oaks home just after 2.30pm, along with a fire truck.

An onlooker told DailyMail.com: ‘It all happened very fast. Three cop cars just showed up and went screeching up her drive.

‘We were all trying to figure out what’s going on, especially after the fire truck left.’

When reached by phone, Alexander’s father, Dennis, told DailyMail.com, ‘No comment,’ on his son’s antics.

Alexander was arrested on an outstanding warrant not for criminal trespass – although those charges may be added, police sources have told DailyMail.com,

The reason for the ‘out county warrant’ has yet to be determined.

The incident, which kicked off shortly after 2pm, saw three Ventura County Sheriff vehicles descend on the property, along with a team from the Ventura County Fire Department.

Records show Alexander’s appearance was listed as a medical emergency by the Fire Department who were called in at 2.14pm by cops.

Spears married Asghari on Thursday after nearly six years together.

She wore a custom Versace bridal gown created by legendary fashion icon Donatella Versace, who was also in attendance for the couple’s ‘I Dos.’

Thursday’s ceremony was a star-studded affair, with the likes of socialite Paris Hilton and actress Drew Barrymore seen arriving to Britney’s 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath Italian villa in their chauffeured vehicles.

Britney’s Versace wedding dress had ‘an off-the-shoulder cap sleeve and a deep V-shaped slit in the leg,’ as per E! News. Britney previously teased Donatella’s potential involvement in bringing her wedding gown to life an Instagram post published in March.

The outlet also dished that the Womanizer songstress wore jewelry by Stephanie Gottlieb and her makeup was courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury.

According to PEOPLE, Britney made her trek down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s hit song Can’t Help Falling in Love in front of 60 guests.

‘Queen Of Pop’ Madonna, who famously shared a VERY steamy kiss with Britney on stage during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, was among the stars who watched Britney and Sam exchange vows.

Donatella Versace, who reportedly helped bring Britney’s Versace bridal gown to life, rolled up to the wedding venue in a snazzy black sports car with her window rolled down.

She had a huge smile on her face as she took directions from a nearby wedding crew member. The 67-year-old fashionista was accompanied by a male companion.

Donatella wore her signature bleach blonde hair parted to one side and in glamorous curls that flowed down her chest.

She appeared to be wearing a sleeveless blue dress and she accessorized with a gold necklace.

Drew Barrymore put on an equally jovial display as she arrived in her own chauffeured vehicle with a female pal.

The Never Been Kissed star, 47, seemed to be sporting a brown cloak-like number and her auburn hair was parted down the middle and styled in waves.

Drew was decked out in a pair of large, gold chandelier earrings and a glitzy gold watch.

Britney’s superstar attorney Mathew Rosengart, who was key to helping the star end her long-standing conservatorship last year, was spotted driving himself to the wedding venue.

The pair announced their engagement via Instagram in September 2021 but had not disclosed a wedding date.

Two months later, the Stronger singer was released from a legal conservatorship that had controlled her personal life and finances for 13 years.

During court proceedings, she said she longed to get married and start a new family without any restrictions.

Spears announced in April that she and Asghari were expecting a baby. A month later, the singer said she had suffered a miscarriage.

Iranian-born Asghari, 28, is a personal trainer and actor who has appeared on the Showtime series Black Monday.

Spears, 40, has been married twice before. She wed childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004, but that marriage was annulled a few days later.

That same year, she married dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she had two children, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15. That marriage ended in divorce in 2007.

Spears and Alexander knew one another from childhood in Kentwood, Louisiana and she had flown him to Las Vegas for New Year’s celebrations.

Speaking in 2012 about their brief marriage, Alexander said that it was the Grammy-winner’s idea to tie the knot in Sin City.

‘She just came out and asked me,’ he said. ‘She was like, ‘Well, let’s get married.’ And I was like, ‘Sure. You know, let’s do this.”

Alexander last July appeared on the podcast Toxic: The Britney Spears Story, and said that Spears’ team had persuaded him to annul the marriage.

‘They told me if I would sign the contracts – the annulment – they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months they would give us a proper marriage,’ he said. ‘So I had no reason to believe otherwise. I thought that’s what the truth was.

‘They were allowing Britney and I to still have phone communication. So we were talking every day and I still believed the story I was told, that they were going to let us continue to talk and then we would have this marriage … in the future if we felt the same way.’

Alexander said that the phone number he had for Spears had changed a month afterward, and he didn’t have a way to get in touch with her.

Alexander is also an avid Trump supporter, having attended the notorious Stop the Steal rally which led to the January 6 siege on the Capitol.

Britney Spears‘ big brother Bryan has been seen running errands ahead of his sister’s lavish wedding.

DailyMail.com spotted the film producer on Thursday, the day Britney is due to marry fiancé Sam Asghari, but he refused to confirm whether or not he’ll be walking her down the aisle.

Bryan Spears, 45, who co-managed Britney’s controversial conservatorship alongside his father Jamie, is reportedly the only member of her family who has secured an invite to her nuptials after Jamie, her mom Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn were all left off the invite list.

TMZ reported that Britney’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and ex-husband Kevin Federline will not be attending.

‘Although the boys will not be in attendance, Kevin and the boys are happy for Britney and wish her and Sam all the best going forward,’ said Mark Vincent Kaplan, an attorney representing Federline.

For Bryan’s morning stroll, he wore a baseball cap, grey t-shirt shirt, black shorts and was seen talking on the phone. He appeared in good spirits and thanked onlookers for their well wishes.

Workers were seen setting up a large white tent on Wednesday at Britney’s LA home, which appears to be the spot that the wedding celebrations will take place.

The secluded tent is sure offer a good amount of privacy for the high-profile couple, who announced their engagement back in September.

Two curtains were drawn in the center of the tent to allow for people to enter, with a white staircase leading up to the entranceway.

Men could be seen carrying in a series of boxes, benches, decorations, lighting and sound equipment, and even pink cushions.

The wedding will take place at Britney’s 12,464-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bath Italian villa – which is located in a gated community in Thousand Oaks, California. Britney purchased the home, which sits on 20 acres of land, in October 2015 for $7.4million.

The 40-year-old singer and the 28-year-old actor and fitness professional were also spotted out and about in Los Angeles in the days leading up to the wedding, with the couple being photographed driving around in a lavish, white Rolls Royce.

Sam sat behind the wheel of the luxury car – which start at $460,000 – while Britney rode in the backseat and chatted with her longtime agent Cade Hudson.

Britney was seen wearing a floral shirt and sunglasses during the outing. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail. The bride-to-be seemed in good spirits as she was pictured animatedly talking to Sam and Cade.

The group stopped at a local 7-Eleven, where Sam picked up some necessities, before continuing on their journey. Sam was pictured exiting the convenience store with a plastic bag full of stuff – but it’s unclear what he purchased.

Sam kept it casual in a pair of bright red shorts, a blue t-shirt, and neon green sneakers.

The singer has yet to reveal any details on her wedding dress, but she was spotted meeting with Donatella Versace back in March, so its possible that she will be wearing a gown from the acclaimed Italian designer.

It came not long after news that her father was moving to end her financial conservatorship – a ruling which Britney previously revealed stopped her from getting married or having children with Sam.

Sam’s manager, Brandon Cohen, confirmed the news via a statement shortly after the lovebirds both posted on their Instagram accounts.

‘The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication, and love expressed to them,’ he said, adding that Britney’s new ring was designed by New York City-based jeweler Roman Malayev.

The bespoke design features a brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting, and is enhanced with a floating solitaire design and has pavé detailing on the bridge.

The celebrity couple has also enjoyed a series of luxury getaways in the months since the engagement, as they have been seen in Hawaii, Las Vegas, and opulent Mexican resorts in Cabo San Lucas and Cancun.

Donald ‘Reg’ Jones (1995–1997)

Britney got her first official boyfriend, Reg Jones, when she was only 14 and he was 17.

In Lynne Spears’ 2008 memoir Through The Storm, Britney’s mother claimed that it was actually Jones whom her daughter lost her virginity to, not her future boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

In 2001, Jones put up two letter than the singer had written him while she was a teen, include one in which she broke up with him.

Justin Timberlake (1998–2002)

Britney’s first serious relationship was with her former Mickey Mouse Club costar Justin Timberlake, who was then part of NSYNC.

Justin’s relationship with Britney was covered in a negative light in a series of documentaries release in the final days of her conservatorship, and he later wrote in an open apology that he was ‘deeply sorry’ and would ‘take accountability.’

Following their 2002 split, the singer used a lookalike actress to apparently stand in for Britney in his video for Cry Me A River, which fans took to be a breakup song about their relationship.

After the breakup with Robson, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst claimed that he dated Britney, though she denied that they ever had a relationship.

‘It just became a fiasco of madness,’ he told MTV of the alleged breakup. ‘[But] I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar.’

Short, who subsequently starred on Scandal, later claimed that he overheard Britney’s parents Lynne and Jamie Spears refer to him by the N-word when she was on speaker phone with them, though he didn’t specify who said it and they both denied using the word.

Columbus claimed to have only had sex with her once, and he claimed he was fired after he failed to reciprocate her affections.

Jason Alexander (2004)

Britney’s first (brief) marriage was to Jason Alexander, who had been her friend since childhood.

They eloped in Las Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel, but they famously got the union annulled after just 55 hours of married life.

Kevin Federline (2004–2007)

The songstress’ next relationship also resulted in a marriage.

Britney and Kevin, a backup dancer, would go on to share her two sons: Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.

The couple divorced in 2007, and it was her struggles with custody that factored into the creation of her conservatorship.

In January 2008, she locked herself in a bathroom with the children when it was time to return them to their father. The police were subsequently called, and Spears was put on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

J. R. Rotem (2007)

Britney hit the dating scene quickly following her divorce when she got together with the music producer J. R. Rotem, though the relationship appears to have been short-lived.

Isaac Cohen (2007)

In the same year, she began dating the male model Isaac Cohen.

At the time, her fans noted that Cohen noted only looked like her ex-husband Kevin, but he even favored similar clothing to the dancer.

Though their breakup was described as ‘amicable,’ Cohen later made unflattering statements about his ex.

Howie Day (2007)

Britney reportedly met the singer–songwriter Howie Day while both were at the Promises rehab center in Malibu.

Life & Style reported at the time that Britney’s mother Lynne was concerned about the relationship, which didn’t last long.

Adnan Ghalib (2007–2008)

The pop star shocked her fans and family when she began dating the paparazzo Adnan Ghalib in 2007, despite the fact that he had long been on her tail hunting for the perfect photo.

Ghalib claimed in 2008 that he had a sex tape featuring Britney in an apparent bid to shop it around, though he later claimed his statements were fabricated, according to The Daily Beast

Britney’s father Jamie successful won a restraining order to keep Ghalib away from his daughter by claiming that the photographer alerted paparazzi to Britney’s whereabouts and then got a fee from them.

Jason Trawick (2009–2013)

One of Spears’ longest relationship was with her former agent, Jason Trawick.

In 2021, rumors spread claiming the two had secretly married and then divorce in 2012 after records showing her conservatorship put a lawyer on retainer shortly before their 2013 breakup.

However, Trawick denied that they were ever married, and no marriage license — or divorce — was ever filed.

David Lucado (2013–2014)

Britney and David Lucado began dating shortly after her split from Trawick, though the relationship only lasted about a year.

Charlie Ebsersol (2014–2015)

Britney continued to date within the entertainment industry, though her new boyfriend Charlie Ebersol was a film and television producer.

Sources claimed to Hollywood Life after their breakup that the two separated after Britney’s father Jamie suggested he wasn’t a good match for her.

Sam Asghari (2016–)

Sam Asghari, an aspiring actor, has been by the pop star’s side since 2016, making their relationship her longest to date.

She met Sam in 2016 when he appeared in her Slumber Party music video, and the two quickly hit it off after that.

They went Instagram official in January 2017, and Sam was by her side amid the battle to end her long-running conservatorship.

Britney announced their engagement on September 12, 2021, and she followed the good news up by having her conservatorship terminated in November of that year.

In April 2022, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, but Britney revealed just a month later that she had suffered a miscarriage.

‘Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news,’ she wrote on Instagram.

How Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship restricted her ability to marry and have children

Britney Spears shocked her fans when she testified in June 2021 that her conservatorship, which was put in place in 2008, prevented her from getting married or even having another child.

‘I want to be able to get married and have a baby,’ she said during a conservatorship hearing. ‘I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby, I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant.’

The terms of Spears’ conservatorship turned over control of her estate to various figures, including her father Jamie Spears and conservator of her person Jodi Montgomery, who succeeded her father.

However, according to experts who spoke to Rolling Stone, California law wouldn’t have barred Britney from getting married or having children unless there was an explicit order to do so.

Under the rules of the arrangement, the singer was not able to enter into any contracts, according to legal experts who spoke to Variety.

That means that she could accept an informal marriage proposal from Sam Asghari, but she would have been prevented from marrying as long as the conservatorship was in place, unless she got the permission of her conservator.

If she had tried to sign a marriage license, it likely would have been invalidated if the conservatorship didn’t first give her permission.

In the dark: Britney court-appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham III came under fire for allegedly never telling Spears that she could ask to end her conservatorship

The fact that the singer believed she couldn’t marry or have children raised troubling questions about what kind of information and advice she was receiving from her court-appointed attorney Samule Ingham III, who began representing her in 2008.

Despite the restrictive conditions of the conservatorship, Ingham III reportedly never took steps to end the arrangement, and he eventually stepped down in July 2021, following his client’s bombshell testimony.’

He was previously lambasted by experts after Spears testified that she didn’t know she was allowed to petition to end her conservatorship.

The issue is now a moot point for Spears, who is free to control her life and estate. After Ingham resigned, her new lawyer Mathew Rosengart represented Britney before a judge ended the conservatorship in November 2021.

Inside Britney Spears’ toxic family after conservatorship battle left her estranged from father, mother and sister

Britney Spears’ ‘cult-like’ conservatorship was terminated by a judge last November after 13 years of having her $60million fortune and personal affairs controlled by her 69-year-old father Jamie Spears.

And in the months leading up to the arrangement’s end, Britney exposed the true state of her relationship with Jamie, as well as her mother Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn.

She’s put her family on blast for allegedly taking advantage of her during the ‘demoralizing and degrading’ conservatorship, even going as far as to say they belong in jail for ‘what they did to me.’

And now, with Britney living life estranged from her father, sister and mother, DailyMail.com is looking back on how the conservatorship tore the Spears family apart.

Jamie Spears

Jamie was granted a ‘temporary conservatorship’ over his daughter in 2008 after the singer landed herself in the headlines for erratic behavior – including THAT infamous head shaving incident – and, eventually, suffering a nervous breakdown.

Despite its initial temporary nature, the conservatorship was extended indefinitely, leaving Britney under the control of her father for the next 13 years.

Though Britney has previously hinted at the fact that the conservatorship felt ‘just like Groundhog Day every day’ to her, the Lucky singer rarely spoke about the arrangement or the extent of her father’s involvement in her financial, personal and career decisions.

Jamie would abruptly step down as conservator in 2019, citing personal health reasons.’ Jodi Montgomery, an experienced conservator, would temporarily take over his duties.

Obvious tensions between Jamie and Britney became public when the performer objected to him remaining her conservator the following year, even threatening to cease performing if he remained in power.

Her attorney told NBC that Britney was ‘afraid of her father’ – a sentiment that would be echoed in the heartbreaking court testimony she delivered in July 2021.

Though her bid to give Jamie the boot was denied, Britney’s fight to end her conservatorship as a while would gain intense momentum in 2021 following the release of  The New York Times’ documentary Framing Britney Spears, which took a deep dive into the controversial conservatorship.

Just one month later, Britney’s lawyer Samuel Ingham III filed to have Jamie removed and to have Jodi takeover. And in April, she’d request to address the court regarding the life she’d been forced to live for the past 13 years.

In the 24-minute testimony, Britney slammed Jamie and claimed that the conservatorship was ‘allowing my dad to ruin my life.’

She accused her family of purposely instigating her ‘angry tantrums’ and ‘crazy’ behavior, which led to her undergoing a number of psych evaluations ‘against my will.’

She further alleged that Jamie and the rest of the family were staying at her home in Jackson Beach, Florida at the time and that her father ‘didn’t care to ask what was going on then.’

Britney also told the court that she was ‘always extremely scared’ of Jamie while growing up due to his struggles with alcohol.

By August 2021, after continued efforts in the courts by Britney’s new lawyer Mathew S. Rosengart, Jamie agreed to step down as conservator.

After learning he would finally be abandoning the role, Britney blasted the conservatorship as ‘a family business’ and thanked Jamie for ‘exiting out of my life and finally allowing me to live mine !!!!

The following month, Jamie filed a petition to end the conservatorship as a whole, noting that he ‘unconditionally loves and supports his daughter’ – it was officially terminated by a judge on November 12.

In the months since the termination, Britney has continued to use Instagram to air out her grievances with her father, with her lawyer also recently accusing the Spears family patriarch of ‘bully[ing] and harass[ing]’ Britney after the fact.

Lynne Spears

Lynne Spears expressed publicly in a statement published in July 2021 that she fully supported her daughter’s big to remove Jamie as conservator.

It is clear to me that James P. Spears is incapable of putting my daughter’s interests ahead of his own on both a professional and a personal level,’ it read.

Yet Jamie hit back, accusing Lynne of being an absent mother and claiming she was paid $150,000 a year by Britney for her mansion in Louisiana.

‘In stark contrast, it appears that Lynne is the one who is incapable of putting her daughter’s interests ahead of her own,’ Jamie Spears’ statement said.

‘Lynne has not been involved in her daughter’s life for most of the past twelve years.’

Controversially, Lynne had published her own memoir Through The Storm: A Real Story Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World in 2008, the year Jamie was made Britney’s conservator after the pop star’s months-long mental breakdown.

Britney would later accuse her mother of ‘secretly’ ruining her life and being the real mastermind behind her conservatorship in a now-deleted Instagram post published in November.

‘My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea,’ Britney captioned, adding that Jamie was ‘not smart enough’ to come up with the idea.

She continued: ‘She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and [Britney’s former manager] Lou Taylor out on it … so take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f*** yourself!!!!’

More recently in a post published in April of this year, Britney alleged that her mother ‘thrived on drama’ and that she would argue with a ‘drunk’ Jamie ‘every night of my life.’

 Jamie Lynn Spears

Britney and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears have developed a highly contentious relationship over the years – which would go into overdrive as Britney’s bid to end her long-standing conservatorship revved up in the courts.

Jamie Lynn broke her silence on the matter in an emotional Instagram video published in June 2021, where she stated that she wanted nothing but ‘happiness’ for her sister and that she always has and ‘always will’ support her.

The Zoey 101 star insisted that she’d made a ‘very conscious choice’ to ‘only participate’ in the singer’s life as her sister – and that she was not on Britney’s payroll as fans had previously accused her of being.

The video appeared to rile Britney up as she launched countless Instagram attacks directed at her sister Jamie Lynn, as well as her mother and father, one of which saw the star threaten to expose them if she ever landed a TV interview.

Jamie Lynn publicly begged for ‘peace’ amid her sister releasing the bombshell social media claims, which later resulted in Britney unfollowing her ‘mean a** sister’ on Instagram.

In late 2021, Jamie Lynn announced she’d be releasing own memoir, titled Things I Should Have Said. She’d changed the titled from Must Confess, after receiving backlash from Britney fans over it being a partial lyric from Britney’s chart-topping track Baby One More Time.

Then while Jamie Lynn was doing publicity for the memoir she aired out a series of eye-catching allegations about Britney.

Jamie Lynn claimed her older sister once locked them both in a room with knife in hand, and described her behavior at one point as ‘erratic, paranoid and, spiraling.’

Britney categorically denied the knife story and retaliated by calling her sister a ‘scum person’ for telling ‘crazy lies’ about her.

As the bad blood between them rose to a boil, Britney also expressed regret that she had not ‘slapped you and Mamma right across your f***ing faces!!!!!’

During the week of the book’s release, Britney’s counsel sent Jamie Lynn a cease and desist over the ‘misleading or outrageous claims’ in the memoir.
