Billie Eilish appears upset after being hit in the face by a bracelet thrown by a fan at her Glendale concert

Billie Eilish was shocked when a fan threw a bracelet on stage during her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour’s Glendale, Arizona, show.

The Ocean Eyes singer, 22, was sitting cross-legged at the front of the stage when jewels flew towards her.

She was stunned for a moment, but continued to sing her track song, “What Was I Made For?” like a true pro, while glaring in the direction the accessory came from, before tossing it back into the audience.

As the crowd watched her win the bracelet, many booed and expressed their anger at Eilish. Ms Eilish previously said it was “upsetting” to have things thrown at her.

In a 2023 interview with THR, while talking about his tendency to throw things at performers on stage, the Grammy winner reminded fans that “it can be dangerous.”

“Literally, for about six years, I’ve had things happen to me on stage,” she said.

She and her brother Finneas noted that cell phones are the most common item because fans want them to take photos and selfies.

“It’s really upsetting to be out there,” Eilish emphasized. “I have mixed feelings about it, because when you’re out there, it’s a blast… But I know it’s out of love, and they just give you something… I’m just trying to give you that.”

They warned fans not to throw things at them or other artists.

“Please don’t throw things on stage, but we love you. It’s so sweet,” Eilish concluded on the matter.

Fans reacted angrily after footage of the incident went viral on X (formerly Twitter).

One said: “And she rightly threw it away.” When will we all be able to stop throwing things at celebrities?”

Another wrote: “Brother why?” Yeah, that’s why we fans can’t do anything nice,” one person joked.

“Soon this style of intimate performance will be obsolete. Artists will be performing behind mesh screens, much like we see them through the microwave door.” predicted the fans.

The comments continued, with one fan writing: “This is so rude!” Fans should show love instead of throwing things. ”

Harry Styles, Pink, and Lil Nas X are just a few of the performers who have been harmed by objects thrown onto the stage by fans.

This disturbing trend began in June 2023 when Bebe Rexha was attacked by a phone during a show in New York, causing a bone cut in her forehead that required stitches.

The same week that Lexa was injured, Pink and Ava Max were also hit by an object. Shortly after someone threw a bracelet at Kelsea Ballerini while she was performing and it hit her in the eye.

It didn’t take long for this trend to influence male performers like Styles, Lil Nas X, and Drake as well.

Adele spoke out about inappropriate behavior during the first week of her stay in Las Vegas in June 2023.

“Do you notice how people forget show etiquette these days?”

“People are throwing shit on stage. Have you seen that? Dare you throw anything at me and I’ll kill you,” she said passionately.

Billie’s Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour will next stop in her hometown of Los Angeles for five shows at the Kia Forum.

Last month, during a concert in Nashville, Tennessee, the Birds of a Feather singer got emotional over the lyrics of a song on TV.

She sang the lyrics, “The Internet went crazy watching the trial of movie stars that overturned Roe v. Wade.”

Then she slowly stepped away from the microphone and finished the song early.

The show took place on the same day that Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.

Billie, who has been a vocal supporter of Harris, declared on her Instagram Story before the show: “This is a war on women.”

That night, she told the audience, “When I woke up this morning, I just couldn’t imagine doing a show on a day like this,” The Tennessean reported.

“But as the days get longer, I realize that it’s such an honor to be able to do this with all of you, and to be able to do this in times like these. I’ve been…,” Eilish said.

“I love you so much, and I want you to know that you are safe with me, that you are protected here, and that you are safe in this room.

“And the song I’m about to do is a song that my brother Finneas and I wrote,” Eilish continued, introducing her 2021 song “Your Power.”
