Audience selection in last week’s flagship debate program led those who suggested that the BBC was biased towards those who voted to leave the EU.
In response to tonight’s show on Nottingham, the British went to Twitter and questioned the “viewer booking method” of national broadcasters.
One Twitter user, Chris McCray, said, “What audience booking method did you use this time? Will you place your ad on the back of Weatherspoon’s Pub Magazine?”
Another user, Taru, said, “Do you have a hardcore Brexiteer audience?”
Meanwhile, Roy Pinney said, “Is the audience again carefully chosen to reflect the vote that took place five years ago?”
Johnny Jags responded by saying, “That’s exactly what I’m thinking. They’ve probably gone down Nottingham’s Ukip membership list and sent an invitation there. Openly criticizing the government. Can’t you do that? “
Authur Newman said: “Did you make sure the viewer is right-wing enough this time?”
And Patricia Clarke, whose bio contains the hashtag #GETJOHNSONOUT, said, “Did you confirm that your audience are all Brexiteers?”
