Ash, who now hosts her own popular podcast, told Geordie that it was then that she wanted to change her life.
“I wanted something different, but I got over it and was thrown away, and I was totally unhappy and almost 30 years old,” she said.
“So I quit and went on a trip, and I just lived my best life. I spent a few months on an uninhabited island eight hours from the nearest city in the Philippines.

Ash explained that she wanted to move to London because she lived in London five years ago after traveling to Asia and Europe.
She was discussing with the BBC and other media companies for work, but was unable to obtain a work visa.
He then returned to Australia, landed a gig on the hit network, and met his current husband, Adrian Brine, at the ARIA Awards a month later.
“I thought he was old because people described him as this’mentor guy’like a boss,” Ash said.

She saw Adrian at the ceremony, remembering how shocked he was that he was the same age as her, and asked a colleague for a referral.
“So we were introduced and I knew I was going to marry him,” Ash added.
She sent a text message to her friend, “I just met the man I’m about to marry.”
The couple will tie a knot in early 2018 and have a son named Buddy in September of this year.
