David, who auditioned 11 times at the ITV talent show, is said to have been found dead last Thursday at his home in Altrincham, Manchester.
Presenters Ant and Dec then visited Twitter on Tuesday with the following message:
“All of us at #BGT will miss him. Our idea is with his friends and family,” I am a celebrity host.
When she posted a photo of David, 50-year-old Amanda wrote:
“He was always laughing and playing a very good sport at @ bgt. We miss him.”
You can see that the police were called to David’s property After his family expressed concern because he was not answering the phone or message.
David’s death, a retired NHS worker, is reportedly not treated as suspicious.
Sources said Sun: “His family couldn’t catch him for a few days.
“He hadn’t picked it up, and all his Whatsapp messages hadn’t been read yet.”
Comedian and magician David first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent television screens in 2008, impersonating Tony Blair, The Hague, and David Blunkett.
He later returned to the BGT stage, auditioned 10 more times, and auditioned for the series’ favorite.
David previously told Manchester Evening News about his experience at the ITV talent show:
“Many people think it’s their first audition to appear on TV for the first time, but they have to pass another audition before they can play for the judges.”
He added: “I love attending shows. It’s very good to be on TV as it’s recognized at the Trafford Center and people ask me to take a selfie.
“Ant and Deck are always pleased that I’m back, and I was doing very well with Stephen Malhan before they quit the British Catgut talent.”
In 2020, after a magical act, David advanced to the second round of the audition stage.
