Amazing Players In The Transfer Market For Signing In 2021/22 Football Season

It’s the transfer season and clubs are racing to sign top players to strengthen their squads. Football leagues are getting more competitive and only the better teams survive and thrive.

Irrespective of whether you are playing in the championships, division, league one, serie A, premier league of la Liga, you need top players.

Which players will you buy?

Almost every club has stars that help them achieve success, but when that player decides to move to seek glory elsewhere, he attracts a hefty price tag. Normally this will scare away prospects, but the best players are always valuable price notwithstanding.

Of course, some players are overpriced. Below are some amazing footballers you could buy if you won the lotto. Keep in mind that some of the players discussed below may have already switched to other clubs.

Antoine Griezmann

Tim maybe finally up for Antoine Griezmann. The Barcelona star is linked to several clubs including Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Man City.

Barcelona is eager to offload big earners to balance the books. After Lionel Messi exited the club, there has been a growing need to further trim the club’s high-wage bill which stands at 50% of all income.

However, the narrowing transfer window leaves him desperate to find a suitable club as talks have cooled down from notable admirers like man city, man united and Atletico Madrid.

Isco Alarcon

Real Madrid is looking to offload players because of their financial troubles and high wages. The gifted Spaniard hasn’t received an offer from the club to extend his contract. He is available for at least $15 million. He is currently linked with a move to AC Milan, Everton, and Arsenal.

Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho is not having the career he dreamt of when joining Barcelona. His legacy at the club is more unique. The club spent a mouth-watering fees to get him from Liverpool but hasn’t impressed as they hoped.

His dip in form saw him spirited away on loan to Bayern Munich in the 2019/20 season. He is now back and still unwanted in the Barcelona squad.

Ronald Koeman is likely to still have him in the 2021/22 season as options are limited unless he strikes a loan deal to the premier league. Possible destinations are Milan, Everton, and Tottenham.

Gareth Bale

All indications point to Bale returning to Real Madrid to sit out the remainder of his contract. There has been growing MLS chatter, but nothing concrete has come to light yet. It’s anyone’s guess whether he will feature for his club in the2021/22 la Liga season.

Ousmane Dembele

He is currently nearing the end of his contract and if no deal is struck, he may be sold. Clearly, the dreams of becoming a global star when he made the switch to Barcelona are a memory now.

The frequent injuries have hindered his progress. If nothing materializes, Barca will look to offload him to recoup some of the money.

Unfortunately, there are few clubs looking to sign an injury-prone winger with huge wages and discipline problems, especially in a pandemic period.  Dembele is linked with a move to Juventus and PSG.

Samuel Omtiti

His career is full of injuries, even though he is a promising defender. The center-back recently posted a cryptic message after being booed in a pre-season friendly.

Some reports suggest that the player is still desperate to stay at the club.   Interested clubs include Monaco, Nice, and Lyon.

Ilaix Moriba

A bright prospect and performed well after featuring for a few minutes last season. Currently, he is refusing to accept a new deal from Barcelona. The club will most likely rush to sell him to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer. He is linked with a move to Marseille, Borusia Dortmund, Chelsea, Man City, and Real Madrid.

Martin Odegaard

Possibly, out of Real Madrid and is pushing for a move out of the club. The club is depending at east $50m. Arsenal has been strongly linked with the player, but the price may discourage the club.

Dani Ceballos

After spending two seasons on loan to Arsenal, he is keen on staying at the club. The injuries sustained from the Olympics will definitely put off suitors. The only interested club to spirit him away from Real Madrid is Real Betis.

Luka jovic

He has rejoined Real Madrid. His Real Madrid career seems to be in shambles even after a loan move to Frankfurt expired. Possible destinations should something materialize include Roma, Inter Milan, and Frankfurt.

Saul Niguez

He has been linked with a move from Atletico Madrid for some time now.  Interested clubs at the moment include Manchester United, Barcelona, and Liverpool.

His price tag has scared off Liverpool but the other two clubs are still in the race.

Jules Kounde

The sevilla player is admired by premier league clubs including Tottenham and Chelsea. His price is rather too high at $60m for the center-back.  Obviously, Sevilla are looking to scare off suitors. Let’s wait and see what will materialize.

Divock Origi

Perhaps his time at Liverpool has finally come to an end. He has not been featured in the starting lineup for sometime now, which means his stock has dipped.  The reds have slapped a $20 m tag on him and possible destinations include West Ham and Napoli.

Tammy Abraham

Heavily linked with a move to AC Roma. After Chelsea secured a move for Romelu Lukaku, he’s available on the transfer market as Chelsea looks to cut their wage bill.

Kurt Zouma

A surprise move by the club to put him on the transfer market. Most likely the Chelsea is looking for funds for big summer spending like acquiring Jules Kounde whereby personal terms are already agreed. His valuation is set at $30m.

Ruben Neves

The 24-years old is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. Wolves have already placed him on the market, so it’s a matter of time before someone finalizes the transfer.

Final thoughts

The transfer window has been busy and players like Lionel Messi have exited Barcelona to PSG on a $42m move. Also, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Verane have been signed by Manchester United. The above players will not be in the market for long. What will happen when the transfer window finally closes is anyone’s guess!
