Allison Langdon had a moving moment at Friday’s Today Show.

She was surprised by the co-host Karl Stefanović Guest Melissa Doyle sponsored a video message from her two African children through a charity with her and her husband, Michael Willesy Jr.

“Look at it, I was a little surprised,” said 47-year-old Karl, introducing a video of the two boys.

Two boys, Mwende and Brian, greeted Allison, and one explained how fun it was to spend their leisure time playing with crayons.

The 42-year-old couldn’t wipe her smile and even shed tears, so Melissa, 51, said:

Ally said she was surprised at the similarities between the boy she sponsors and her own children, son Mack (4) and daughter Scout (3).

“That little four-year-old likes crayons, and my little boy likes crayons at the age of four,” she said.

Allison said he wanted to visit the sponsor’s children and hoped that his children would meet them someday.

“I can’t wait to introduce them to them and write a letter,” she said.

Melissa, who has worked for Charity World Vision for over 20 years, said that thanks to Allison’s support, 4-year-old Mwende “wants to be a doctor” and Brian “wants to be a teacher.”

Allison shares two children with her 12-year-old husband, Michael Willesie Jr.
