GMB’s Alex Beresford has revealed that he has been bedridden for a week because of Covid because he admits that he has “relaxed” his hand washing and wearing masks.
Alex Beresford revealed on social media on Tuesday that he was bedridden for Covid for a week.
He said he felt pretty sick during his illness and felt like he had a “really terrible flu.”

Boredom: Meanwhile, on his Instagram, he posted in his story:
Alex writes: It feels like a really terrible flu.
“I’ve been involved in a project that I can’t drop out for the last few months, so I’ve been actively wearing masks and washing my hands, but I’ve been relaxing for the last two weeks and I’m here!”
“I don’t want to imagine how bad it would be if I didn’t get the vaccine,” he added, adding that he was vaccinated.
Meanwhile, on his Instagram, he posted in his story.

“I didn’t expect it to be such a bad tbh! But since last week I’ve been lying in bed feeling like the flu. It’s not fun at all! Send me a series recommendation!”
Alex is absent from the morning show gig as he continues to recover.
He has been a regular star of the show since he started as a weathercaster in 2012, but has recently taken on the role of host.
Alex is notorious for joining the on-air spats with Piers Morgan over Megan Markle in March.
After that, Peer will stop the show and Richard Madley will be the new regular host of the New Year’s show.
