Musical activities such as soloists, choirs and bands compete with each other for prize money, the winner chooses to take a dosh or gamble, and “walks in line” to fight another player-a bigger mountain. May be of cash if they succeed.

“Craig I belonged to the same label, so I knew my entire career from the beginning of Misty. Our roads are always crossing.

“And, of course, I’m happy that Gary Barlow has become my friend,” she adds with a laugh. “Who knew what would happen when I was 13 when I was away from school to see Take That’s performance? We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro together and wrote a song.

“It was a wonderful perfect moment for us to just crush each other and finally work with him on this panel.”

The show is presented by Maya Jama And, despite its game show format, Alesha claims it’s as much about skill as thrills.

“Contestants are driven by prize money, but at the heart of it are talented individuals,” she says.

“In some cases, you may be shy and unable to appear in other talent shows, so the game show element is enabled.
They leave their comfort zone. The panel is not only for criticism, but also for encouragement.

“You have to overcome that fear, walk the line, and believe that you have the talent to go forever.”
