Adobe tightens Microsoft integration for document management, validation

Adobe is integrating its document management, tracking and validation services more widely into Microsoft’s product ecosystem, including tighter connections with Teams and Purview’s information protection framework.

At the annual Microsoft Build software conference, Adobe announced a new single sign – on option for Acrobat for Teams, integration with Purview from directly within the desktop version of Acrobat, and Microsoft Power Automation functionality that will allow users to perform repetitive tasks with Acrobat Sign easier. , among other features.

Adobe also announced unified installation technology for all newly released features, which means IT staff can deploy them across their organizations with relative simplicity, as well as FedRAMP Moderate certification (government security standard) and achieve Sign Graph connectivity, which means that. Signing status checking for things like sales contracts and boarding is faster now.

Adobe also shared a technology preview version of Live Share from the recent acquisition of Frame.io, in association with Microsoft Team. This feature could, if and when it goes into the production, allow groups of workers to collaborate live on a document, discuss it through Teams and review it interactively.

Chian work encourages new integration

The new feature sets are primarily a response to the pandemic – driven spike in remote work, according to Adobe.

“Our new hybrid work reality has turbocharged the transition from paper to digital, and no one can afford to be left behind,” the company said in a statement.
