Adoptedintelligent analytics software raises $ 1 million to make workplace success and well-being sustainable for millions of skilled professionals.
Adadot is powered by highly advanced technology, which is applied to understanding and managing the correlation between performance and well-being at work. The software integrates productivity and collaboration tools used daily to help developers improve the way they work and feel.
Much like a fitness tracker, it provides unique visibility into “what good looks like” for each individual by identifying areas for improvement. The solution focuses on privacy by design, offering full control and value to the individual while providing only aggregated team data to managers.
Team founding Alex Harris and Jason Spiliotopoulos have spent most of their working lives after graduating from Oxford and Imperial, respectively, managing remote technical teams for companies like Ocado and have experienced the challenges of hybrid working methods.
Alex Harris, co-founder and CEO: “When not everyone is in the office it’s really hard to tell if we’re moving in the right direction as an individual or as a team. Most software focuses on tactical information such as activity status. The burning questions, however, are on an entirely different level: Are we getting faster or better and running out of steam in the process?
The team is supported by stellar investors and advisors such as VC LAUNCHub and daFUND funds, Charles Songhurst (former Microsoft Head of M&A), James Isilay (CEO, Cognism), Jane Gilson (former Microsoft and Google executive) and others.
Stan Sirakov of LAUNCHub Ventures: “Doing well while working well is no longer a question of compromise. Indoor and remote technicians need key metrics and actionable insights into their performance, collaboration, and wellbeing models. We are thrilled to support Alex and Jason in their quest for a more efficient and balanced work life with a monitoring solution that rewards the best results and sounds the alarm for the overworked. By investing in Adadot we want to be part of that positive change in the future of work ”.
DaFUND’s Darko Butina shared the reason for supporting the company: “Adadot addresses some of the most pressing problems associated with today’s modern workplace: the growing burnout issues and how we can better collaborate remotely. We believe the team, led by Alex and Jason, will deliver on its promises and make today’s modern and at least partially remote workplace better and more fun, and save some people from burn-out in the process. “
Adadot’s recent launch on Product Hunt hit the coveted No. 1 as product of the day with volumes of positive comments from the community. Adadot also won the highly competitive Innovate UK SMART Grant in partnership with the University of Warwick to expand its AI offering and create a smart referral system.
The company is currently looking intensively for new innovative technology companies to add to its client roster.
