A cyclist who laid a five-year-old girl on the floor in the snow ordered him to pay a compensation of only € 1 after being abused on social media.

A cyclist who slammed a five-year-old girl on the floor in the snow was ordered to pay compensation of only € 1 after receiving a series of criticisms online.

A video of the incident, shared online last year, showed a girl walking with a woman in a natural park in Baraque Michel, Belgium, where a passing cyclist appeared to be sticking out her knees.

A court in the city of Belvier today sentenced a man to a suspended sentence on the grounds that he was guilty of deliberately kneeling down a girl and was already well criticized on social media.

Dad Patrick Mupasa filmed his wife and daughter walking in the park on Christmas day when a cyclist rode a bicycle.

He then posted the footage on social media and asked the viewer if it was correct to file a complaint with the police.

Mr. Mupasa said he chased the man and managed to stop him, but the rider did not repent.

After the police were complained, cyclists and witnesses were asked to come forward.

At that time, the local cycling association GRACQ called men’s behavior “unacceptable.”

The judge said today that the man did not intend to harm the girl, it was a minor case and the man was already facing criticism on social media.

The judge added that he had already been detained when the unnamed man was arrested.

The cyclist was ordered to pay the girl’s family only € 1 (equivalent to £ 86) in compensation for the case.

At a previous court hearing on February 3, cyclists alleged that the case had occurred because he was trying to keep his balance.

The cyclist told the judge: “When I was riding near the girl, I felt the rear wheels slip off.

“I rebalanced my knee movements to prevent a fall. I felt like I had hit the girl, but I didn’t immediately notice that she had fallen.”

However, the prosecutor did not accept what the man claimed. “He was plagued by people who had to walk around the road.

“He gave the child a” knee punch “out of total annoyance because the obstacles were in the way of him. “

The judge also dismissed the version of the accused’s case, saying, “He thrust his knees into the child because an obstacle came his way.

Cyclists faced the possibility of spending up to a year in prison.
