A suspected stalker sent Mylene Klass costumes as Catwoman and a police officer and tried to post an air pistol during a nine-month harassment campaign, a court heard.
Prosecutors said Peter Windsor, 60, also sent the former pop star multiple unwanted letters and “unwanted gifts, including shoes and jewelry.”
According to legal documents, he knew his alleged stalking would have a “significant negative impact on Ms. Mylene Klass’ normal daily activities” and cause her “severe anxiety and distress.” Or maybe he should have known.
Windsor is also suspected of stalking Klass’ colleague, Classic FM late-night presenter Katie Breswick, 52.
Prosecutors say that between 2020 and 2023, he sent Breswick items such as binoculars, running shoes with spikes, a bottle of champagne and a stamp collection.
Both Mr Breswick and Mr Klas, 46, received a series of unwanted and “incoherent” letters bearing Mr Windsor’s address and appearing to be in his handwriting, Birmingham Crown Court was told.
After targeting Breswick for about three years, Windsor diverted his attention to his colleague, Klass, prosecutors said.
The items were allegedly sent to Classic FM’s London office, but the air pistol was intercepted before it could reach the mother-of-three, the court heard.

Neither Breswick nor Klass, who shot to fame in 2001 with the pop group Hear Say formed through the reality show Popstar, attended the brief hearing at Birmingham Crown Court last month.
Details of the incident began to be reported after the Mail won the battle to remove the restrictions.
Mr Windsor, of Stechford, Birmingham, appeared by video link from prison, where he is being held.
Defense solicitor Phil Brandt successfully applied for an adjournment.
He has not yet entered a plea to two charges of causing serious alarm by stalking, but a trial is scheduled for March.
Klass’ former group, Hear Say, sold 550,000 copies in its first week of release with “Pure and Simple”, making it one of the best-selling debut singles of all time and becoming the group’s official UK single. -It was the first of two to reach number one on the charts.
However, their success did not last long and the group disbanded after 18 months.
Ms. Klass, a classically trained musician, won runner-up on I’m a Celebrity four years later, and her scene of the star showering in a white bikini became a lasting image of the series.

The bikini later raised £7,500 at a charity auction.
Last year, Klass became the first I’m a Celebrity Legend, winning the “All Stars” version of the show set in South Africa.
She is still a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women and also works as a Classic FM DJ.
Klass is in a long-term relationship with Simon Motson, with whom she has a son born in 2019.
Ms Breswick is married to Robert Thorogood, creator of the BBC series Death in Paradise, and has worked at Classic FM since 2008.
