The collision happened on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park at around 4pm last Thursday, Dyfed and Powys Police said. A gray Nissan Qashqai was involved.

A force spokesperson said: “Sadly we can confirm that a six-month-old baby girl has died following a collision on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park in Tenby on January 2.”

Sofia Kelemen, from the Leigh area of ​​Manchester, was taken to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on January 3.

“Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained police officers.

Flaviu Nagy, 33, from Wigan, was charged and remanded to appear at Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and further remanded to appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 7.

Police said he was also arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and drug driving and was released on bail on those charges.
